Dr. Monica Young, general and gastrointestinal surgeon, is focused on providing excellent surgical care in the comfort of a community setting. As a specialist trained in general, bariatric and gastrointestinal surgery she treats surgical problems with minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Young’s particular areas of expertise include laparoscopic procedures for gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, lap band removals, paraesophageal or hiatal hernias as well as Heller myotomy for achalasia. She also performs all general surgical procedures including abdominal wall hernias, gallbladder disease, breast problems and skin lesions.
